NEC Academie is on the lookout for adept and capable sports feature writers to join our online magazine team. We are looking for someone passionate about sports, to be more exact, someone who is passionate about football.
We need your skills and knowledge to provide our readers with amazing content about the beautiful sport. There is so much we can share and discover and to do that, we need your help.

How to apply
If you are interested, then you can submit your application directly to our management team’s email at info@nec-academie.com. You are also required to include at least 3 sample works you have written or published over the last 2 years.
If you have a professional writer’s portfolio, we encourage you to include it in your email application. It will give us further documents to evaluate and assess. Inclusion of a professional portfolio is not a requirement.
Take-home Test
After a thorough evaluation, our designated panel will pick the applications to make it through to the next step. The next step would be a take-home test. The examination will determine your knowledge of football and football training. Each applicant will also be asked to come up with his or her original content on the spot.
This will have you writing a football spread article on a topic of your choosing. Further instructions will be released in the coming days.
Interview with Faysal
When you pass the test, you will be endorsed for the final interview with NEC Academie’s founder, Faysal van Leur. It would be up to Faysal to decide if you have what it takes to be part of the team.
